Services
Switchboard upgrade with PLC control and VSDs, electrical supply cabling.
Our scope included the installation of a new outdoor Main Switchboard complete with PLC control and VSDs for efficient pump control as well as the installation of electrical supply cabling to critical equipment such as sump pumps and vent fans.
In addition, we upgraded to new local control panels and LED station lighting plus carried out all necessary earth bonding of metallic structures to ensure compliance with safety standards. The station’s communications infrastructure was also upgraded with the installation of a new communications antenna.
Throughout the project, we ensured seamless integration of the existing field devices with the new systems, followed by thorough testing and commissioning to guarantee full functionality and compliance.
The project was successfully completed, providing the Jewells 1 WWPS with a fully upgraded electrical system that enhances operational efficiency, safety, and reliability.
