Switchboard Upgrade Project

Qube Electrical successfully delivered a large-scale Switchboard Upgrade Project across more than 20 critical water pumping stations, significantly improving the safety, reliability, and compliance of essential infrastructure.

The project involved the design and installation of new, fully compliant switchboards, each equipped with generator connection points that meet the latest industry standards. These upgrades ensure seamless integration with backup power systems and future-proof the sites against evolving regulatory requirements.

To further enhance operational resilience, Qube also installed permanent standby generators at key locations. These systems provide uninterrupted power supply during mains outages caused by severe weather events or grid disruptions—safeguarding the continuous operation of critical water services.
